Instant Rava Dosa

   Rava is rich in iron. The presence of calcium in rava boosts bone health.




INGREDIENTS

Rava                    - 1 Cup

Curd                     - 1 Cup
 
Salt                      - As required

Asafoetida           - A pinch

Cumin seeds       - A teaspoon

Onion                   - 1 Finely chopped

Carrot                   - 1 Finely chopped

Beans                   - 3 Finely chopped

Green chili            - 1 Finely chopped

Ginger                  - An inch size finely chopped

Curry leaves         - 10 leaves

Water                    - As needed to make dough

Oil                         - As needed to make dosa


PRE-PREPARATION

# Finely chop the vegetables.


# Take cumin seeds, curry leaves and curd.


METHOD

1. Take rava in a large bowl.

2. Add curd.


3. Add salt.

4. Add asafoetida.

5.Add cumin seeds and ginger.

6. Pour water and rest it for 10 minutes.

7. When rava becomes soft, add finely chopped vegetables.

8. Mix well and make it into batter for dosa.(Rest the batter for 5 minutes if needed).


9. Heat the dosa tawa with little oil.


10.  Pour the batter on tawa and allow to cook for some minutes.



11. Turn another side of dosa and cook well till vegetables turn tender crisp.


12. Serve hot.
