Beetroot Dosa

            Beetroots get their rich color from  betalains , which are water soluble antioxidants. Betalains have  chemo preventive abilities  against some cancer cell lines.   INGREDIENTS Dosa batter (Rice&Urad dal) - 1 Cup Grated Beetroot - 1/2 Cup  Grated Ginger - 1 Teaspoon Ghee (or) Oil - 1 Spoon METHOD 1. Take all the ingredients. 2. Add grated beetroot and ginger in dosa batter and mix well. ( Pour water if needed). 3. Add Ghee (or) oil in dosa tawa. Pour beetroot dosa batter on tawa and spread it evenly in a circular way to it thin. 4. Gently turn back the dosa and cook for some minutes till it attains its beautiful golden color. 5. Serve hot. Rice Flour Roti / Instant Rice Adai

Rice is easy to cook and digest.  Good Source of Energy. Rich in vitamins and minerals. Gives relief from constipation. INGREDIENTS   Rice flour - 1 Cup Cumin seeds - 1 Spoon Salt - As required Chopped Onion - 1/4 Cup Grated Carrot - 1/4 Cup Chopped Garlic - 1 Spoon Chopped Green chili - 1 Teaspoon Chopped curry leaves - Little Oil - 1 Spoon + As required to roast Water - As required METHOD 1. Take   rice flour, finely chopped onions, garlic, green chili, carrot, curry leaves,cumin seeds and salt. 2. Put it on a large bowl. Add water.Pour water little by little to make dough. Finally add oil. 3. Make dough with thick consistency and divide it into equal parts. 4. Take banana leaf, brush with some oil. Place small balls on it. Gently spread the balls evenly on all sides and make some holes. 5. Put the roti on heat tawa. Gently remove the banana leaf after few seconds. Grease with some oil. Mint Dosa / Pudina Dosa

     The active ingredients in mint leaves can better the memory power and   mental alertness.   Helps in   losing weight. INGREDIENTS Dosa batter (Rice&Urad dal) - 1 Cup Mint leaves - 1 Handful Garlic cloves - 5 Green chili - 1 Salt - Required Cumin seeds - A pinch Pepper - 10 METHOD 1. Put Mint leaves, garlic, green chili, pepper, cumin seeds and salt in a mixer jar. 2. Grind well. 3. Add Mint puree in dosa batter. 4. Mix well. 5. Pour mint dosa batter on tawa and spread it evenly in a circular way to make it thin. 6. Turn another side and allow to cook for some minutes. Ready to serve... With Spoonful of Smiles...

Pearl Millet Dosa / Kambu dosai

       Kambu    is a high energy food which is packed with Iron . It has 8 times Iron content higher than in Rice. The rich Iron content in Kambu aids in improving the hemoglobin level in the blood and prevents anemia .
