Beetroot Dosa

         Beetroots get their rich color from betalains, which are water soluble antioxidants. Betalains have chemo preventive abilities against some cancer cell lines. 



INGREDIENTS

Dosa batter (Rice&Urad dal) - 1 Cup

Grated Beetroot - 1/2 Cup 

Grated Ginger - 1 Teaspoon

Ghee (or) Oil - 1 Spoon

METHOD

1. Take all the ingredients.




2. Add grated beetroot and ginger in dosa batter and mix well. (Pour water if needed).

3. Add Ghee (or) oil in dosa tawa. Pour beetroot dosa batter on tawa and spread it evenly in a circular way to it thin.

4. Gently turn back the dosa and cook for some minutes till it attains its beautiful golden color.

5. Serve hot.
