Drumstick leaves Chapati/Murungai keerai Chapati

      Drumstick leaves/Murungai keerai have 7 times more Vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas.

    Chapatis are loaded with iron, the hemoglobin levels in your body are balanced. The risks of iron deficiency or anemia drastically decrease.


     



INGREDIENTS   

Drumstick leaves - 1 Handful

Wheat flour - 1 Cup

Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon

Turmeric Powder - Pinch
 
Salt - As required

Chili Powder - 1 Spoon

Oil - Little


PRE - PREPARATION 

# Take murungai keerai and wash well. Make sure that murungai keerai must be very clean. 

# Finely Chop.






METHOD

1. In a large bowl, take wheat flour. 


2. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and chopped drumstick leaves. Mix well and add water little by little.



3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes.




4. Grease with oil.


5. Rest for an hour.



6. Make the dough into small balls and grease with oil.



7. Dust with some flour. 

8. Flatten the balls.


9. Place the flatten chapati on heat tawa and cook both sides.


10. Grease little ghee for fabulous taste
