Pearl Millet chapati / Kambu chapati

      Kambu  is a high energy food which is packed with Iron. It has 8 times Iron content higher than in Rice.                              
    The rich Iron content in Kambu aids in improving the hemoglobin level in the blood and prevents anemia.





INGREDIENTS

Kambu flour(Pearl millet flour)- 1/2 cup

Wheat flour                                - 1 cup

Cumin seeds                              - 1 Teaspoon

Salt                                             - Needed

Ghee                                           - 1 spoon

Water                                          - Little

Oil                                              - Little


METHOD

1. In  a large bowl, take wheat flour and kambu flour.

2. Add cumin seeds, salt and ghee.

3. Add water little by little and knead into soft dough. Grease with some oil and rest it for 15 minutes.

4. Make the dough into small balls and flatten it.

5. Place the rolled chapati dough in hot tawa and cook.


6. Serve hot.
