Black Gram Rice /Black Urad dal Rice / Lunch Recipe / One Pot Recipe
Black gram offers a ton of health benefits and filled with fibers.
INGREDIENTS
Black gram - 1 Cup
Rice - 1 Cup
Oil - 2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds - 1 Spoon
Pepper - 10
Cloves - 2
Fenugreek Seeds - 5
Garlic - 10 cloves
Dry Red chili - 2
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - 1 spoon
Salt - As required
Water - 4 Cups
Curry leaves and Coriander leaves
PRE - PREPARATION
# Soak Black gram 8 hours before to cook.
METHOD
1. Pour Oil and add cumin seeds, pepper, cloves, fenugreek seeds and allow to sizzle in a pressure cooker.
2. Add Garlic, dry red chili, chopped onions and tomatoes and saute well.
3. Add turmeric powder, salt, soaked rice and soaked black gram.
4. Pour water, add curry leaves and coriander leaves and give a quick mix and close it for about 5 whistles.
5. Serve hot.
