Beetroot Carrot Raita

         Beetroots get their rich color from betalains, which are water soluble antioxidants. Betalains have chemo preventive abilities against some cancer cell lines.     

    Carrots are loaded with vitamin A and beta-carotene. Carrots have calcium and vitamin K, both of which are important for bone health.

    Curd is one of the richest source of protein, calcium and minerals.It has an enzyme that keeps the body cool.



INGREDIENTS

Curd - 1 Cup

Grated Beetroot - 1 Tablespoon

Grated Carrot - 1 Tablespoon

Grated Ginger - Little

Chopped Coriander leaves - Little

Salt - As needed 

METHOD

1. Take thick curd in a bowl and whisk well without lumps.





2. Add Grated beetroot, carrot, ginger, coriander leaves and salt.


3. Mix well.



4. Serve.
