Drumstick leaves Soup /Murungai keerai Soup

     Drumstick leaves/Murungai keerai have 7 times more Vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas. 



INGREDIENTS

Murungai keerai - 1 Handful

Small onion - 4

Tomato - 1/2

Garlic - 4 

Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon

Pepper - 1 teaspoon

Clove - 2

Turmeric powder - 1 Spoon

Salt - As required

Water - 800 ml

Pepper powder - 1 Spoon


METHOD

1. Take murungai keerai and wash well. Make sure that murungai keerai must be very clean. 




2.Take all the ingredients. 


3. Put the ingredients in cooker and pour enough water. 


4. Cook for about 5 whistles. 


5. Cool down. Using ladle, take cooked murungai keerai and add into a mixer jar. Grind well. 



6. Add that puree on cooker with cooked soup water. Again turn on stove and just cook for 2 minutes. 


7. Filter the murungai keerai soup. 


8. Add pepper powder on top. 


9. Serve hot.
