Beetroot Balls / Beetroot Pakoda

    A cup of tea and a bowl of snack in a rainy evening makes all into delight. Beetroot balls apt well and so delicious.



INGREDIENTS

Besan flour         - 2 Cups
Rice flour           - 1 Cup
Onion(chopped) - 1
Beetroot(grated) - 4 Cups
Chili Powder      - 1 Tablespoon
Salt                     - 1 Tablespoon
Oil                      - For deep fry
Water                  - As required

METHOD

1. Pour oil in a thick bottomed pan and heat on a medium flame.
2. In a large bowl, add besan flour,rice flour, onion, grated beetroot, chili powder, salt and mix well.
3. Add water little by little with most care and make a thick mixture.
4. Make the mixture into balls.
5. Put the beetroot balls in the pan and deep fry.
6. Cook well until it came into golden color.
7. Serve hot beetroot balls with a cup of tea.
