Mushroom Kuruma/Cauliflower Kuruma/Gravy
Mushrooms are rich in B vitamins.These help the body utilize energy from the food we consume and produce red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body.
Cauliflower is a great source of antioxidants, which protect your cells from harmful free radicals and inflammation.
INGREDIENTS
Mushroom - 200 grams
Cauliflower - 400 grams
Turmeric powder - As required
Salt - As required
Water - As required
Green chili - 1
Onion - 2 roughly chopped
Carrot -1 roughly chopped
Beans - 10 chopped
Tomato - 1 chopped
Potato - 3
Oil - 2 Tablespoon
Mustard seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Cinnamon - 2 Pieces
Bay leaf - 1
Star Anise -1
Dried rose petals - Little
Coriander leaves - As required
TO MAKE GINGER-GARLIC PASTE
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - An inch size
Cashew nuts - 15
Anise - 2 Teaspoon
Green chili - 5
TO MAKE COCONUT PASTE
Grated coconut - 200 grams
Ghasa ghasa - 2 Tablespoon
Bengal gram roasted - 3 Tablespoon
PRE PREPARATION
STEP-1
# Boil potatoes and mash well.
STEP-2 (GINGER-GARLIC PASTE)
# Add ginger and garlic in a mixer jar.
# Add anise and grind well.
# Grind into a smooth paste.
# Add grated coconut, ghasa ghasa and bengal gram roasted in a mixer jar.
# Grind well.
STEP-4 (BOIL CAULIFLOWER)
# Boil chopped cauliflower with turmeric powder in water for few minutes until it gets tender.
STEP-5 (BOIL MUSHROOM)
# Boil mushroom with turmeric powder in water for few minutes until it gets tender.
# Strain it and take.
METHOD
1. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add mustard seeds.
4. Add chopped Green chili and Onion.
7. Pour little water with Salt and cook well.
8. Bring it to boil till the vegetables get tender.
9. Add boiled potatoes.
10. Add coconut paste.
11. Mix and cook well.
12. Finally add boiled cauliflower and mushroom.
13. Cook for few minutes.
14. Serve.
