Pearl millet pakoda / Kambu pakoda

  Kambu  is a high energy food which is packed with Iron





INGREDIENTS


Kambu flour  - 1 Cup
(Pearl millet flour)
Rice flour      - 2 Tablespoon
Salt                - As required
Chili powder - 1 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Onion            - 1 chopped
Curry leaves  - 10 leaves
Water             - As required
Oil                  - As required

METHOD

1.  In a large bowl, take kambu flour and rice flour.


2.  Add in salt, chili powder and cumin seeds.


3.  Add in onion and curry leaves.


4.  Mix well.



5.  Pour enough water and mix well.


6. Knead the dough into thick consistency.





7. Heat oil on medium flame and put pakoda dough with irregular shapes into oil.
8. After the bubbles comes down and the pakoda well cooked, remove from oil.


9. Serve hot.
